“Every time I look in the mirror, I can't believe it's actually me. I have so much more confidence.”

Lynda

My hair loss happened very quickly after a difficult period in my life.

I had major surgery for a tumour between the bridge of my nose and the base of my skull. Following that, I underwent seven weeks of proton beam treatment. I became very ill after the treatment, lost a lot of weight and was on a feeding tube for seven weeks. Because my diet was so limited, it also contributed to my hair loss.

“I Didn’t Even Want to Look in the Mirror”

At the time, I was already struggling emotionally. I was very depressed and trying to come to terms with everything that had happened. Then I started noticing bald patches.

I was very anxious and upset when I first noticed them, but it became worse in a short period of time. I lost most of my fringe and my hair became noticeably thinner. I felt like a different person.

I used to get upset even looking in the mirror. I felt old and ugly and didn’t even want to go out. When I did go out, I felt as though everyone was looking at me. It affected my confidence badly and just made my depression worse. With everything I had gone through, I really didn’t want to be here.

My family and friends were wonderful throughout my illness. They kept reassuring me that my hair would grow back and that it didn’t look that bad. But when you’re the one losing your hair, that’s not always how you see it.

I started looking online for solutions when I became aware of the bald patches and thinning. Most of the advice was about vitamins, shampoos and other products, but I didn’t have much confidence in them. The only thing I tried was vitamins, but they take months before you notice any difference.

Then a friend told me about someone she knew who had a hair system because of hair loss. She said it looked so natural that you couldn’t tell it wasn’t her own hair. She got the name of the salon, but it was too far away for me to travel. So, I searched online for somewhere closer to home and that’s when I found Hair Solved. My first visit was in August 2025.

Looking back now, finding Hair Solved was one of the best things that could have happened to me at that time.

The difference the Hair Solved Enhancer System has made is incredible.

I feel like a different person now!

Every time I look in the mirror, I can’t believe it’s actually me. I have so much more confidence and, most importantly, it gave me the confidence to go back to work.

Before I got the hair system, I didn’t think I would ever go back to work again. That’s how low I felt. Once I had my hair back, it changed everything.

When I returned to work, nobody even knew it wasn’t my own hair until I told them.

People often comment on my hair and tell me how nice it looks. One lady said she loved the colour. She was shocked when I told her it was a hair system. It feels so natural that I forget it’s not my own hair.

Sometimes it feels a little itchy when it needs adjusting or washing, but apart from that, I honestly forget it’s there.

People often say that a woman’s hair is her crowning glory, and I definitely think that’s true. It’s surprising how different you feel with hair. When people say a hair system has changed their life, I can definitely identify with that. I don’t know what I would have done if I hadn’t had the system.

After everything I went through with surgery, treatment and recovery, I was simply trying to get back to a normal life again. Hair Solved helped me do that.

Today, I’m back at work, feeling more confident and moving forward with my life. And I’m doing it with a good head of hair.
